A New Partnership… {Newborn Photographer, Rochester MN}

I’ve started on a new venture.. and it all came about when I tried to learn to crochet, and FAILED. Upon realizing that I would not be able to obtain my goal of learning to crochet, I teamed up with an amazing friend and designer, Dee at Dee’s Desyns. Dee and I put our heads together, and I now offer custom handmade crochet hats to all my newborn clients, that they get to take home after their session!! Pretty exciting!! I also teamed up with Dee to take model images of her products, so I’ve been surrounded by beautiful handmade hats over the past weeks and my kids and I have been LOVING it! Here are some of my favorites of Dee’s Hats so far on my little  Addie (almost 6m).

Miss “A” Fun 6 Month Session {Baby Photographer Rochester MN}

Oh beautiful Miss A, how I always look forward to photographing you. Watching you grow is special enough, but your smile is contagious!  Mommy, Daddy and I were all so proud of you and how good you did for your pictures! You let us try all kinds of things, and flashed that beautiful grin of yours through anything we threw at you! Happy 1/2 Birthday beautiful girl!

Newborn “A” Sneak Peek- {newborn photographer, Rochester MN}

Is there anything more perfect than a newborn baby? I think NOT!I was lucky to get to photograph another beautiful baby girl this summer (makes me get really antsy for my baby girl to be born- she’s due Nov. 11th). She shares a nickname with our soon to be peanut, so that made her even more special to me.

This little peanut was just perfect, and soo content at just 1 week old! I was able to get some amazing shots of her & of mom & dad as well. You may recognize mom & dad from their maternity pictures (which were also amazing!) click here to view

Sneak Peek “R”- Newborn Session {Newborn Photography, Winona MN}

As many of you know I’m expecting baby #3, and there is nothing that makes my baby fever kick in more than a newborn session! Baby R was no different, perfect in every way, and complete with that new baby smell as he is less than 2 weeks old! Baby R did not want to go to sleep, he was to excited and wanted to show off his big blue eyes for mom, big sister and myself. But! Patience is virtue, and Baby R did fall asleep, and I was able to get the sleeping baby pictures mom really wanted, and just in time for Mother’s Day!

Sneak Peek Baby “S” Newborn Session!

I had a newborn session today, my first girl newborn!! I’ve photographed only boy newborns up until now, so my girl props were excited to get taken out of the trunk.

Baby “S” was only 9 days old, but she is so strong & alert! It was a fun session because I knew going into it that Mom & Dad love photography and commit to the shot! (I was lucky enough to photograph their maternity session). Not only did Mom & Dad commit to the shot, but they got DIRTY and still committed to the shot! This was the first newborn session I’ve done where I wasn’t the one getting dirty. lol
